RV Rentals at Arkansas State Fair
A great way to explore a state and get to know its residents is by attending the state’s annual fair. This is where citizens will show off all the things that make their region great, and they’ll share with you all the best they have to offer! You may find suggestions for foods to try, or places nearby to visit, or get ideas for souvenirs and presents to bring home. Or...you may just meet some kind people, ready to chat with you about their hometown. Either way, you’re sure to leave with new ideas and perhaps even a friend or two. Don't miss out on the Arkansas State Fair.
ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
Every fall, there’s plenty to do at the fair in Little Rock. In years past, there have been animals - from sea lions to goats, rides and roller coasters, produce displays, and tons of delicious fried...well, fried everything. There are magicians and music concerts and circus acts and bull riding, along with more staid activities like quilt displays and art and craft shows. You can try a Koolickle (that’s a Kool-aid marinated pickle, for you uninitiated), and vendors have been known to experiment with newer treats like fried pineapple rings.
The fair also turns 82 this year, which should make for an exciting celebration.

Be sure to check out the bands and concerts scheduled to play throughout the week - in past years, they've hosted The Charlie Daniels Band, Mark Chestnutt, and Ginuwine, among others.
RVING AT THE EVENT
There is camping available right at the fairgrounds, so you can enjoy a full day of rides and activities, then head just steps away to the comfort of your own bed and a nice, hot shower! If you don’t own an RV, you can rent one withRVshare and enjoy the amenities of a home near where you’re spending the day.
Campsites at the fair are first-come, first-served and no reservations are allowed. Campers should arrive at Gate 11. Rates are as follows:
Water, Electricity & Sewer: $45 per day

NLR Parks & Recreation RV Park and Campground - has 30 & 50 amp service, water & sewer hookups
Little Rock North/Jct. I-40 KOA - max 50 amp service, WiFi, a pool, bike rentals, and a snack bar
Downtown Riverside RV Park - located right on the river in downtown North Little Rock, the campground offers 50 amp electricity only, plus water and sewer hookups and a dump station. There is free WiFi, a pavilion, laundry, and a boat ramp. The campground is pet-friendly.
WHERE TO STAY
RV Camping
Whether you’re bringing your own RV or renting from RVshare, staying in a motorhome is the way to experience the fair! You have the freedom to explore the exhibits and events and activities all day, then in a few short minutes be back in your own space with your own food, a soothing shower, and a soft bed.
Hotels
There are also plenty of hotels around Little Rock where you can stay while visiting the fair. The city has most major chains in town, or you can find some locally operated motels as well. You can find recommendations on Expedia, AAA, and a host of other travel websites as well.
HOW TO GET THERE
Directions from I-40
Merge onto I-30 West/US-65 South toward Little Rock. At exit 139A, take the ramp right for I-30 W toward Roosevelt Rd. Turn right onto W. Roosevelt Rd. Go approximately three miles, then turn left onto Howard St.

Take exit 139A, head west on Roosevelt Rd. Keep straight on Roosevelt Rd. for approximately three miles. Turn left onto Howard St.
