The Ancient Redwoods RV Park is located about a mile north of town on the world-renowned Avenue of the Giants. This area is home to Founders Grove, Rockefeller Forest, and Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The park is located among the tallest and oldest living organisms in the world.
Ancient Redwoods RV Park is one of the Good Sam RV parks near Redwood National Park, California. Ancient Redwoods boasts large, paved sites with grass medians that are big-rig friendly but welcome campers of all sizes. An outdoor gathering area with barbecue facilities is currently being constructed. This park provides an on-site convenience store and is home to “The Immortal Tree,” a 1000-year-old redwood.
“We loved this place!! Easy to make a reservation & super friendly, helpful staff! Nice, clean, large bathrooms and showers. Located on the avenue of the giants makes for convenient viewing of all local stops. Fresh seasonal berries kept the kids busy & happy. Paved, large spots and plenty of room to maneuver large rigs/travel trailers. The only improvement would be a picnic table. Very, very spotty cell reception.” – Janell W., Google Review
